causes of obesity in the U.A.E




In the past,  people used to eat  healthy  food like fish and rice, but now people eat a different kind of fast food and it’s not good for our health like Mc Donald’s and KFC. This is a complex problem and this change in diet has had many causes and effects.

There are many reasons for why people eat fast food every day. One of these is the lifestyle. Many people work so they don’t have time to eat at home and most women work and she forgot to prepare food to her family so the closest place for them is a fast food restaurant. Another reason why people eat fast food is that the money. Many people if they have money they will go to a fast food restaurant because they are accustomed to fast food. Yet another reason is the modern life. Most people want to try new things of food and on the other side the advertising that we see for fast food make it look tasty.

Fast food also has effects. One of the most important is on health. Fast food is not healthy for us because it creates obesity and it cause diabetes and high blood pressure. Another serious effect is on the family. The families are not eating together.

In conclusion, most people eat healthy food and some not. Be careful it causes problems for you.

Leisure time spending in the U.K


The two graphs show changes of leisure time spending in the U.K by age group. Overall, although people still have much leisure time, electronic equipment and sports spending is decreasing.

The most spending on leisure time in U.K between 20-30 ages is electronic equipment, with 41%. This dropped to 38% in the 50-60 ages. Sports purchases plunged from 20% by the 20-30 ages to 5% by the 50-60 ages. However, the share for all other leisure time spending increased dramatically; The percentage of people’s leisure spending for books and magazines almost doubled from 16% to 28%, while the gardening proportion increases from 7% to 16% for the above 50 groups.

In conclusion, the percentage of the leisure time spending is for books and magazines and gardening is higher, while the leisure time purchases for electronic equipment and sports are falling.

The pie graph shows seven emirates in the U.A.E by square kilometers. Overall, the total area is 77,700 with Abu Dhabi making up the majority, Ajman the minority.
First, Abu Dhabi is the largest of the U.A.E’s parts and covers around 67,340 square kilometers, which is over half of the total land area. Second in size is dubai which encompasses 5% of the country. The other parts, Sharjah, Ras al khaimah, Fujairah, umm Al Quain and Ajman, are much smaller than either Abu Dhabi or Dubai. They have area of 2,590 square kilometers, 777 square kilometers and 259 square kilometers respectively. To gather they make up only 8.3 percent of the U.A.E.
In summary, Abu Dhabi is the largest emirates in the U.A.E. with an almost double that of Dubai. Sharjah, Ras Alkhaimah, Fujairah, umm Al Quain and Ajman are significantly smaller than either.
